Birthday! The comic is 4 tomorrow guys, can you believe it?? I can’t hardly. It kind of feels like I just started posting yesterday. I know I say this every year, but it really means a lot to me that you all are along for the ride with me. I love my comic and I’m too stubborn to stop making it, but all of your comments, poll votes, and playing along with my weird event ideas (speaking of, you all down for Shipping Contest 2019 ;p) really motivates me to keep at it. Thank you all so much for your support, from the bottom of my heart <3

 

I’ve also been feeling really good and excited about the point in the overall story that we’ve reached so far. As you may have seen me musing on Twitter, I feel like Chapter 17 is kind of a dawning of a new era in terms of meta plot and character relationships. Mara kind of kicks off a flood of being open about the past that continues in Chapter 18. The slow burn(both romantic and platonic) really starts to simmer and by the time we get to Chapter 19 things are going to finally start boiling over some. I’m really excited for you guys to read it. The next few years are going to be great!

 

And speaking about the future, I have some big news about my plans for this upcoming year. I’m finally going to do a physical print run of volume 1! I’ve been wanting to do this for the past few years, but the timing never really worked out with everything else I had going on. So that’s why I’m going to take this year to prep some new, beautiful, re-drawn pages for parts of the book, do proof reading, and get everything set up so that I can launch the pre-orders (most likely through kickstarter) next October. I think it’ll be a really great way to celebrate 5 years of being online ^_^

 

I want this book to be as awesome as it can be so I need a little help from you. As I mentioned, I want to re-draw some of the older art, but I’m having a hard time narrowing down which sections would be best to focus on. If you have some time, it would mean a lot to me if you could fill out this survey.
