That’s the end for this chapter! Next chapter will being April 4th. I’m going to take the rest of the month off to give myself a little extra time to work on some neat bonus stuff. I will be making some non-comic posts during this time so make sure to check back at least once a week! Also, if anyone is interested in drawing fan art or a guest comic, I will post anything I get during this time. I’ve got a couple cute ones saved up, but there is plenty of space for anyone who wants to be showcased. Just send it to mariah (dot) c (dot) currey (at) gmail (dot) com with “Fan Art” in the title~ Make sure you include a link for where to find more of your work.
Nice art work. I like how you drew one half of him “normal” and him blood thirsty, also the background looks pretty cool.
Hi, weird question but, my friend Bella is making a black and white comic book; do you have any pointers on comic book producing. Also it is on paper not online… but I do think she will start her own web comic, from the paper hard copy.
I would recommend drawing on a larger sized paper than what she is planning on printing on for starters. It’s also really important to account for image bleed if she wants to do any open panels where the image is meant to end on the edge of the page. Aside from that, make sure to have a decent scanner if she’s working traditionally. Regardless of if she’s working traditionally or digitally, she should make sure that her files are at least 600 dpi (preferably 1200 for black and white) for print resolution.
Let her know she can email me if she has anymore questions. I’d be happy to talk with her in greater length about it. And send me a link if she does put it online 🙂
Thank you so much for the pointers, I’ll tell her when I can back at school
