Someday, I may be convinced to go back and completely redo this chapter. If the summer I had to get chapter one and two ready for launch had been twice as long, I might have had time to do this one as well. Ultimately, I didn’t think Chapter four was bad enough the way the first two were that it needed to be completely redone. The first two chapters also needed to be rewritten a little bit, unlike this chapter where I thought the writing was either solid enough or only needed minor edits that didn’t require new images/page layouts. That being said, there are going to be a lot of white backgrounds. This is the first chapter I ever inked using the ink was style that I typically do so it’s… well it’s the first time I’d ever done it, let’s just leave it at that.

In case you are wondering when the comic will catch up to my current style, the answer is hopefully never. I should explain what I mean by that. As of writing this (2014), the pencils I’m working on are for the very last pages of what is currently Chapter 8, I believe. It may end up being Chapter 9 since I’m currently working on a new, shorter, world-buildy chapter to go be adding about three chapters from now. Ideally, I would really like to keep up this positively monstrous (pun? :D) huge buffer I’ve got going. This would mean that the comic is always about a year behind in whatever artistic level I’m currently at. We’ll see if this happens 🙂 Anyway, enjoy the upcoming chapter. Old art or not, it was still one of my favorites to draw.
